Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann will wait until after the team's final warm-up match against Greece on Friday before announcing his final squad for the upcoming European Championship.

Nagelsmann has until midnight on Friday to submit his 26-man squad to UEFA, and he is expected to make some tough decisions after a strong showing from his players in recent friendlies.

The Germany coach has already hinted that he is likely to leave out some experienced players, including Mario Gomez and Mats Hummels, in favor of younger talent.

Germany will face France, Portugal, and Hungary in Group F at the European Championship, which begins on June 11.
